Completed a new cork floor last week over floorboards in order to give a fresh look and give better the room better insulation properties. The radiator was also moved which involved a crawl through a cellar void.

Boundary finished with white scotia

Had a lovely relaxing week rockpooling in Pembrokeshire with the family. Now back at work and faced with a dark and dusty void cellar to adjust plumbing for a radiator move.

Fortunately there was just enough crawl space to get between the rooms although I had to empty my pockets to fit. Plenty of cobwebs in my hair to add to the grey but using speedfit piping it was fairly straightforward once I had room.

Sourced and fitted x2 oak veneer internal fire doors this week. To be finish with satin osmo door oil. For a contemporary finish I used jigtech latches which sit very neatly on the door and require minimal chiseling of the timber
